Rank Race

Today's top 10 by the leaderboard's rules (at least 5 recorded games, the last within 14 days; ranked 10 lower a day from the 8th day without a game, never below 1500), and where each of them stood at the end of every day of the period (of every week over a year; over all time, every day for the league's first 90 days, every week up to two years, then every month). A line starts when the player first made the board.

MMR Distribution

Records

Recorded games in the period. Time at #1 and in the top 10 is measured to the minute by the leaderboard's rules (an idle player slides down from their 8th day without a game and drops off after 14); a climb is the most MMR gained within 30 days, from the lowest it stood, that peaked in the period. The averages count players with at least 20 recorded games in it, per game or, with Per: Hour, per hour of their own live play (goals, assists and points per hour count the games with game stats; the goal difference stays per game); points are goals and assists together; forfeits are left out of the goal differences. An upset is a win by the team the MMRs gave less than a 50% chance. The best duos have played at least 5 games together, the best trios (a whole team) at least 3. Wins at #1 count the games a player started while #1 (Games: all of them). Most MVPs counts the games a player was the MVP of: the winners' player with the best Performance Rating among those who played at least half the game, when more than 5 goals were scored; the MVP rate is the share of their games with game stats they were the MVP of, over at least 20 of them. The captains' records count the games a player captained (Games: all of them), the best win % over at least 20. The most one-sided rivalries are the opponents with the most lopsided record against each other, over at least 5 games, the better player named first. A record from one game links its date to the game's page.

Game Stats Records

From the game stats each game's server records, over the players with at least 20 recorded games in the period. The Performance Rating is how much a player does for the time they play, the points from their game stats (a goal 3, an assist 2, a save 2, a steal or an interception 1, any other tackle, a shot that missed and a faceoff won 0.5, a pass 0.25, a turnover -1, an own goal -3) per minute of play; Best Performance Rating is each player's average over all their play time in the period, so a short game counts for less than a long one. Highest Performance Rating is each player's best in one recorded game, counting only games they played at least half of, the MVP's rule, so a short stint can't top it. The Performance Rating is the sum of two parts, kept the same ways: the Offensive Rating, from what a player does with the ball (goals, assists, missed shots, passes, faceoffs won and turnovers), and the Defensive Rating, from stopping the other team (saves, steals, interceptions, other tackles and own goals). The rest are per game, or with Per: Hour per hour of the player's own live play (pauses, countdowns and time off a team left out, so long and short games count alike), except Shooting % (the shots that went in, over at least 20 shots), Passing % (of their passes and misses someone else took, the ones a teammate took, over at least 20) and Possession (the share of all the possession in their games). Boost Used is the fuel their rocket burned, in meters (a meter is a full boost meter; holding boost on an empty one burns only what trickles back in). Fastest Goal and Fastest Assist are each player's quickest into a game's play (own goals left out), in any recorded game. The top duos are the two teammates who passed, or assisted, each other most per game (or hour) together, both ways, over at least 5 games together. A player's page and each game's page explain the stats.
